With its versatile spaces and functional elegance, this signature venue is the heart of the vineyard and the hub for all that happens here. From intimate tastings to lively events, it’s the place to experience our wines, connect with friends, and take in the sweeping views of the Chehalem Mountains, Dundee Hills, and our own estate vineyards—from every room and across our expansive patio.

MINGLE WITH THE VINES
We steward 20 acres of vines on our 35-acre estate in the Chehalem Mountains. With respect for the land, we dry-farm our vineyard using organic practices, and maintain LIVE, Salmon-Safe, and Bee Friendly Farming certifications. The south–southeast slope rises from 325 to 450 feet in elevation, promoting sun exposure to grow exceptional fruit on our well-drained soils. Every fall, we hand-harvest all our fruit and craft our wines exclusively from estate-grown grapes. Our Estate and Reserve Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are complemented by unique varietal wines including Gamay Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Aligoté, and Pinot Meunier.

Welcome to Our Home—the Chehalem Mountains AVA
Located 45 minutes outside of Portland, Balsall Creek’s estate vineyard blooms each spring on 35 acres of rich farmland in the Chehalem Mountains AVA just north of the Dundee Hills in Oregon’s wine mecca, the Willamette Valley. Surrounded by established Newberg, Dayton, McMinnville, and Yamhill wineries, some of our favorite wines come from this area and these soils. We were confident the terroir would provide the foundation for producing exceptional wines of our own.
