The Chehalem Mountains is celebrating 20 years in 2026 and we are thrilled to invite you to our annual Magic in the Mountains wine tasting event. Join us in celebrating 20 years of our award-winning AVA at The Allison Inn & Spa on May 30th, 2026 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

At the gateway to Oregon’s prestigious Willamette Valley wine growing region, just 35 minutes from Portland, you can discover wines produced by 39 of Oregon’s most highly acclaimed wineries paired with food bites from incredible local purveyors.

Hunt & Fish Supper Club X Balsall Creek Wine Pairing

We are back with your favorite collaboration: Hunt & Fish Supper Club with Balsall Creek wines!

Join us in wine country for a delicious culinary experience curated by chef Gary Marmanillo, paired expertly, course by course, with Balsall Creek wines. Guests will gather at the Estate House for mingling and hors d’oeuvres before being ushered onto the patio atop Balsall Creek’s vineyard to enjoy a multi course, family style dinner.

Club Summer Kickoff & Pick Up Party

Kick off the summer season with us at our pick up party on Sunday, June 7. Wine Club Members are invited to visit the Estate House to enjoy a sunny afternoon featuring the wines in your upcoming allocation. All four wines included in this shipment are brand new releases: 2023 Reserve Pinot Noir, 2023 Reserve Chardonnay, 2025 Rosé of Gamay Noir, and 2023 Sauvignon Blanc.

Consider this your perfect excuse to head out to wine country for some sun, relaxation, lawn games, tasty bites, and exclusive pours of our newest releases!

Registration for this event is appreciated. A friendly reminder that your membership dictates the amount of tickets you’re allotted for pick up events (1st Tier: 2 | 2nd Tier: 4 | 3rd Tier: 6).

Sips & Sounds featuring Hit Machine

Join us for the first Sips & Sounds of the season Saturday, June 20 at the Estate House!

Doors open at 5 PM, with food and Balsall Creek wine available for purchase. Enjoy live music from Hit Machine from 6–8 PM. There’s no better way to savor summer evenings and the late light than with a glass of local wine in hand and great music filling the air at this beautiful outdoor venue nestled in the Chehalem Mountains.

HIT MACHINE is the Northwest’s premier high-energy party band, known for electrifying performances that create unforgettable experiences. Led by dynamic frontman Bart Hafeman, Hit Machine has earned its reputation as the longest-running and most in-demand event band in the region. The band has appeared alongside many big names in the music industry (Plain White T’s, Switchfoot, REO Speedwagon to name a few), as well as with professional sports teams and on TV shows.

Sips & Sounds featuring Haley Johnsen

Join us for Sips & Sounds at Balsall Creek on Saturday, July 18. Enjoy live music from Haley Johnsen (6–8 PM). Doors open at 5PM with food and wine by glass available for purchase. This outdoor evening is the perfect way to soak in summer in the Chehalem Mountains. Haley sold out last summer, so be sure to get your tickets early!

HALEY JOHNSEN is an Oregon-born singer-songwriter known for her powerful voice and genre-blending style, combining Americana soul with alt-pop energy. A standout finalist from American Idol Season 11, she’s shared stages with KT Tunstall and Joseph, and performed at venues like Coachella and Red Rocks. Her latest EP, Late Bloomer, is a bold and heartfelt celebration of growth, grit, and self-expression.

Sweet, Saucy, & Sparkling: Brunch at Balsall Creek

Join us for brunch at Balsall Creek! Brunch will include a chicken and waffle sampling plate with sweet and savory sauces curated by Chef Shannon Feltus, paired with glasses of both Balsall Creek Method Oregon sparkling wines.

Seatings at 30 minute increments starting at 10:30am. Last seating at 12:30pm. Maximum 15 slots per seating. Tickets are $65.

This is Balsall Creek’s “Make Your Own Adventure” offering as part of the Method Oregon Grand Tasting Weekend.

The third Sips & Sounds installation of the summer will feature Michael Allen Harrison and his Legendary Band on Saturday, August 1, 5-8PM. Join us for an evening of great music, culinary treats, and wine at one of the most beautiful settings in Oregon’s Wine Country – Balsall Creek in Newberg. Just 45 mins from Portland!

Tickets start at $49.50 and sold by the seat. Wine and food will be sold separately on site.

Calling on Plein Air painters to apply for a special opportunity to paint in the vineyards at Balsall Creek, then showcase their paintings at an event at the Estate House where they will stay on display and available for sale for a month. PLEIN AIR PAINTING SHOWCASE: AUGUST 15
Balsall Creek will display all paintings done from the Plein Air Painting Event artists for a month. We warmly invite lovers of wine and art to the Estate House on Saturday, August 15, 4-7pm for the unveiling of all the paintings at Corks & Canvases: A Balsall Creek Vineyards Plein Air Painting Showcase. The event is free to attend — guests will be able to see all the stunning pieces, engage with the artists, and even purchase the paintings. Wine and light bites will be available for attendees.
