Privately nestled within the vines atop Calkins Lane, The Estate House at Balsall Creek is both stunning and functional.
The Estate House
Immerse your event in the heart of wine country enjoying impeccable views of Balsall Creek’s vineyards, the Chehalem Mountains, and the Dundee Hills from all three rooms and across the patio at our estate.
The Estate House boasts over 4000 square feet of indoor space broken into three separate and unique rooms, a full-scale commercial kitchen, and an additional 2500 square feet of patio. Spaces can be reserved individually or combined for a maximum head count of 150 guests. Whether you’re hosting an intimate gathering or a corporate event, we offer flexible spaces and amenities to fit your needs.
The Tasting Room
The main tasting room is the stunning entrance to our building with vaulted ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, accordion doors onto the eastern patio, as well as double-doors to the shaded southern patio. Combined with the 1850 Lounge it can host up to 80, seated or standing.
The 1850 Club Lounge
The 1850 Lounge can be completely closed off for a private event. It has a gas fireplace, a TV, and double-door access to the center patio. It can host up to 35 seated for a presentation or meal.
The Dining Room
The Dining Room is a private room that can seat up to 16 people at one long table. It has a TV, direct kitchen access, and accordion doors onto the patio.
The Patio
The patio wraps around the southern and eastern sides of the building and can be accessed from all rooms. On its own, the patio can host up to 80 seated.
Amenities
- All rooms and the patio are furnished, but Balsall Creek can
rearrange the spaces with circular or rectangular tables, white
linens, and black chairs for up to 100 guests. - Serving utensils and glassware for up to 100 guests are available on site.
- AV hook ups, TV connection cables, and WI-FI are available on site.
- Each room in the building has at least two sets of doors onto the patio.
- The 1850 Club Lounge and center patio have fireplaces available for use at
the discretion of Balsall Creek. - There is a full-scale commercial kitchen and outdoor covered BBQ
area available on site for caterers. - Unless otherwise agreed upon, Balsall Creek will handle vendor management. In the event that the client would like to use a new or different vendor, vendor will need to be approved by Balsall Creek.
Cost Breakdown
Balsall Creek private and corporate events are charged on a cost-per-attendee basis. All wine tastings, vineyard tours, catering, spaces rented, staffing, and amenities are included.
There is a 20% service charge per person.
Requirements
The access to host a private or corporate event at the Estate House is reserved for Club Members. If no one in the client’s party is a Balsall Creek Club Member, client must join one of our four membership tiers as part of the event contract.
